These NATURAL SCIENCE CLEP(tm) NOTES are designed around the things that we did with our five children to help them get ahead in their college studies. Not only our own children, but homeschoolers across the country are using these notes to prepare for AND PASS the Natural Science CLEP exam! Let us share our story:

As our children completed high school, we found that they were more than prepared to test out of college subjects. We began to realize that if they just studied for CLEP exams in the same ways that they did for their final exams in any subject, they could pass these exams and show that they were capable of gaining college credit at the same time they were getting high school credit.

This concept is called "double crediting." And it is something that even Laurie did when she was a senior in high school! You can learn more about this idea by acquiring a copy of our Grand Plan document found in our CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL STUDENT PLANNER or our book, THE GUIDANCE MANUAL FOR THE CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL, both available from our website, www.davidandlaurie.com.

The NATURAL SCIENCE CLEP NOTES are our third offering of CLEP(tm) Preparatory Notes for studying to test out of a CLEP(tm) exam. They follow our Introductory PSYCHOLOGY and Introductory SOCIOLOGY CLEP NOTES offerings.

[We will be providing similar notes for other subjects in the future. But taking a hard science course like Natural Science isn't always easy. It requires specific knowledge of many facts of science. Many students are intimidated by hard sciences. But we believe that many students will be able to use our materials to study for and pass this CLEP(tm) exam. We originally developed these notes to help homeschoolers who wanted to tackle the Natural Science CLEP exam. We now know of many students who have successfully done so! So this is one area where we know without a doubt that we can help.]

We think it is a resource that you might find helpful to avoid having to “rebuild the wheel.” We trust it will be useful for you and your children.
