We are glad that you are considering seriously this very helpful tool for you and your children. This BIOLOGY LAB SERIES is designed around the things that we did with our five children to help them complete high school biology labs well. All five of our kids are our “validation” of the value of the “BIOLOGY LAB SERIES” concept. Let us share our story:

As our five children were growing up, we knew that we would face the perpetual homeschooling challenge of teaching high school science. (Or rather, we knew that Laurie, as the homeschooling mom, would probably bear most of this burden.)

This is a very common problem, not only in subjects like Biology or Chemistry, but in Math courses too.

[We will be providing some answers for other subjects in the future. But we know as a fact that many homeschooling parents, especially moms, are in the dark when it comes to teaching Biology Labs. So that is one area where we know without a doubt that we can help.]

Laurie is a trained biologist. Her degree is in Biology, where she has studied extensively and has a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as several Masters Degree credits. She graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA in this subject. She also has recently completed the writing of REA's "The Best Test Prep for the Biology CLEP" book, to be released by the end of the year! And to top it all off, SHE IS A HOMESCHOOLING MOM OF FIVE WHO DID THESE LABS TOGETHER WITH OUR FIVE CHILDREN USING THE VERY SAME MATERIALS WE ARE NOW OFFERING YOU!

The difference is that they weren't in the really nice package that you will have to use for your students. You will have a distinct advantage with this product. It has been tweaked, modified, improved, retested, reworked, and cleaned up to make it much more user-friendly than what Laurie and our kids used.

And not only did our own children benefit from this material, but Laurie has taught numerous other homeschooling students this material. And just recently, we took the product to Florida and used it to teach a dozen homeschoolers there their Biology Lab material, in conjunction with our 3-day CLEP Prep class in Biology (using Laurie's soon-to-be-released CLEP Prep book in Biology).

How have our children done with Laurie's course? you may ask. Well all we can tell you is that three of them have gotten into college and had those credits recognized. And one of our children, Rebekah, is a Nursing student with an upper 3.xx GPA, and has been recognized as a National Nursing Honor Society inductee.

We can also tell you that students who have taken Laurie's Biology Lab class have thanked us when they were done that she helped them to enjoy the experience, and that they learned a lot. To us, that is a great measure of the success of the class.

This same BIOLOGY LAB SERIES is the tool we used with our own children in high school biology (our documents weren't as nice as this one, but it contains most of the same lab content). We think it is a resource that you might find helpful to avoid having to “rebuild the wheel.” We trust it will be useful for you and your children.
