For several years we have taught our five children their science material together. Having five children in six years, Laurie found that she just didn't have enough time to teach three or four different science disciplines simultaneously. She literally could have been teaching ALL FOUR SCIENCES at the same time.

This led her to become very creative. It turns out that we just taught all five of our children their science together and didn't concern ourselves with the differences in age. What we quickly learned is that this was no problem. Our children were able to work through the material at their level just fine.

Since Laurie's degree is in Biology--she holds a Bachelor of Science degree-- she developed a set of biology labs that she could do with our kids. Other homeschooling moms learned about Laurie's labs and asked if their children could take them too? This led to some group lessons involving students of a variety of ages.

Over time, Laurie had developed an entire high school course in biology labs! She taught it in several locations. Recently we even took the course to Arcadia, Florida and combined it with our Biology CLEP Prep workshops to teach Biology to a dozen homeschoolers there. It was great!
