Spring/Summer 2003 Three Callihan kids got married in the Summer of 2003! This was quite a summer to remember! +++++ Winter, 2003 Arcadia, Florida: We moved to work with Dr. Gary and Mary Parker, Creation Adventures Museum +++++ 2004 2004: A YEAR OF ADVENTURE! Arcadia, Florida: We began to work in public school classrooms as 8th Grade Math (David) and Science (Laurie) teachers. May 2004: Jeremiah, Kimberly and Rebekah graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York August, 2004: Our home in Arcadia was devastated by Hurricane Charley, a Category 4 hurricane, followed by visits from Hurricanes Jeanne, Ivan, and Jeanne. Son-in-law Shawn Romano graduates from Savannah School of Art and Design (Shawn was also homeschooled through high school). The Christian Institute is approved! September 2004: Notification received from Florida Commission for Alternative Education that TCI may offer degrees.+++++ 2005-2006 TCI is getting ready to launch, then setbacks. Arcadia, Florida: Setbacks as technical developer has to quit. We're patient as we continue to look for help. 2007 March, 2007: TCI finds homeschool dad who expresses willingness to help with database development. Work on development looks promising during summer and fall of 2007. All subscribers to our eNewsletter will receive notification as soon as TCI is available. |
