That’s right. You can print it for every child in your home at . . . JUST $20! Let us explain the “why and how” to you (who haven't ordered it before--sorry to bore the rest of you).

As we struggled to get the Christian Homeschool Daily Planner reworked a couple of years ago, we kept agonizing with how we would get it printed so that it wouldn’t cost too much to you. And in all of the challenges of trying to figure out a way, we all-of-a-sudden realized something obvious.


“We don’t need to print it! You can do that!” (Duh!)


Yes, we know. For some of you (but we think a very few), not having our Planner in a completed form, that has a really nice laminated cover and quality tabs already printed and done, will be a little bit disappointing. But we just concluded that it wasn’t worth up to $15 more per copy just so the Planner can be a little bit nicer.

Let’s be real. Most homeschoolers don’t have all kinds of money to throw around. Our goal is to provide a Planner that works well for every homeschooling family who wants one. So it also has to be very affordable. That is our bottom line. We were not happy with the price that the Planner was costing homeschoolers. And with our new offering for the 2003-2004 school year, we solved that problem. Then two years, we decided that we wanted to make it available to everyone who wanted it without charging for it. So the 2005-2006 Planner was FREE! But then we realized that it does take David about a month to redo it for the new school year. That time takes him away from other things he could be doing. Last year, we figured that charging $2 per family seemed very, very reasonable. On top of that, we used the proceeds this past year to help our youngest son, Wesley, pay for his final year at college! We urged all of our customers to consider it a donation to a college scholarship fund, because that is exactly what it will be used for! But we also had a large reduction in customers last year. As we discussed this with some of our business friends, we were advised that $2 cheapened the product. And so now, for the new school year, we are returning to a reasonable FAMILY price of $20, continuing the tradition of a reasonably priced Planner!

In the early summer of 2004, we applied for approval from the Florida Commission for Independent Education to start a home-based, parent-directed Christian college. In September, 2004 they gave approval. We have been working diligently to get it started. In order to help parents across North America (yes, it's going to be available to people outside the U.S. too!) to learn how they can move their children ahead into secondary school and college while still at home, we have decided to share the information in our Parent's Guide with as many families as possible. So we have decided to just include the Planner as well.

That’s right. We are charging $20.00 for the entire school year, in order to get the Parent's Guide into the hands of as many parents as we possibly can!

In 2002, we had to charge $30 each for our Planners. That was per copy. Our new offer is PER FAMILY, no matter how many children you have to use it! How is that for a bargain?

A family of five students would have paid $150. Now pay $20.00! They will save $130!!!!

Even a family with one child saves a lot. It’s $10 less than it was in 2002!

Now, we think this approach has some other great upside benefits:

2. You can download and print the pages in whatever timeframe you want: monthly, quarterly, or all at once. It’s up to you. The download license is for a perpetual use of the 2007-2008 Christian Homeschool Daily Planner and Parent’s Guide, including the Grand Plan.

We're not trying to hide anything . . . we're virtually giving it away so that as many parents as possible will be interested in reading about our Grand Plan ideas to help get your children ready for secondary school. We think parents will want to know about this idea and we want to give you some incentive to check it out.

3. For those of you who want something that looks really professional, you still can. Just take your downloaded Adobe Acrobat™ PDF document to your local printer and have it printed and bound any way you like for your children. Or just go to Wal-Mart or a local office supply store, buy a 3-ring binder and some 8x11 tabs, and print the pages out for your students! It’s your choice. You can spend as little or as much as you like to print the pages. With the price of paper being as low as $3.00 per 500 sheet or less, and using a low-cost inkjet printer, you can print several copies for a fraction of what we had to charge before for a printed book! The real value of the Planner is in the content and format. That hasn’t changed. We’re just making it more affordable to everyone.

Remember. It’s the INFORMATION that is important.

We still are providing you with a high-quality printed Daily Planner for your secondary students. The PDF files can be downloaded either by month, or all of the pages in a few large files.

It’s up to you how you do it. And we have made it simple to obtain it from any PC with a web browser.

Why not make a homeschooling project out of printing the Planner and have your children go see a local printer? Let them learn how printing a book is done as they obtain their own copy of it? How’s that for some creativity in getting your Planners printed? (You might even be able to get the printer to give you a great deal on the project, since it is for learning purposes. Doesn't hurt to ask!)

Please fill out the on-line order form, which will then direct you to download the pages.

We do require your personal information to be accurate because this is the only way we have to protect our copyright from abuse.


Once your information is confirmed, you will receive written instructions on how to download the files,. This will include sending you the password you will need to download the individual PDF files.

As we said before, you can download the large Planner sections all at once, if you like, broken down into all of the above sections (which will take about 2 to 3 minutes on a cable or DSL connection, obviously a bit longer at 56K speed), or just download the monthly sections you want to print one-at-a-time. Then print at your leisure either way.

But we need to ask you to do one thing . . .

When you order a copy of our Planner, we ask that you print it ONLY for those students and parents who are members of your IMMEDIATE FAMILY. (In some states you can homeschool students who are not in your family. If you homeschool students in another family, we ask that you order another copy for them.)

Let’s put it another way. We are offering our product for any set of parents or guardians who are responsible for their own individual children's education. If you have several children and are responsible for their education and welfare, you may print our documents for each and every one of them. You know what we mean by this. It’s not complicated. But please do not print our Planner for others. Tell them about our incredible offer and ask them to order the downloadable files for their own family!

We have intentionally made this product available to everyone. In Christian love, we ask that you meet this one simple request. It’s the only way we can think of to know who is ordering the information and wants to learn more about our future ministry directions in providing home-based learning alternatives.
