Remember, your student's progress in high school, and the subjects being covered in this year's Grand Plan will determine exactly which video pack you will choose. We are designing these packages around the subjects commonly covered in the specific high school year. But we define them by "levels" (1,2,3, and 4) rather than "grades" (9,10,11 and 12) because homeschoolers don't always follow a standard 9-12 grade sequence. They also don't always do subjects in the same order as publicly and privately educated students. Many times your children are ahead of the average institutional classroom student. So we use "levels" in trying to be less confusing. Your student also doesn't necessarily have to be in the traditional chronological age range to take the subjects we are suggesting at each level.

These "packages" should be very useful in helping you to lay out specific subjects for each grade level.

We also would suggest that you go to www.davidandlaurie.com/standard_deviants.html if you need to customize a package of Standard Deviants(tm) appropriate for your child's needs. You may then add to any of the pre-defined packages with other videos you think are appropriate.

Also, don't forget to have your student "CLEP Out" of any subject completed in the secondary school years for "double credit." Make sure to consider having your student take a "CLEP Prep" class, either using our "CLEP-In-A_Box" offerings, or one of our CLEP Prep classes that may be near you shortly. Go to A Few Final Notes:
