Why should learning be boring?!

These videos, DVD's, and CD-ROMS are great to assist your secondary school (and college) students in learning the basic subjects they will need to know to finish high school and/or college subjects.
NOTE: As home schooling parents, we need to prepare our children for being active participants "in the world." We are exhorted to be "in the world but not of it." This demands that we teach our children discernment. To us, it's much better to have our children learning subjects like biology, history, and other social sciences, that will have a humanistic bent in the environment of the home, than to get their first exposure to this stuff when they go away to a secular (or even Christian) college or university!
Standard Deviants is great for doing this. It's a great set of materials that your children (yes, and even you) will just love! Even though some of the content will challenge some worldview thinking, we have used these with our kids, and not only are they hillariously funny, but they are excellent in content, AND INEXPENSIVE! Most are less than $20 a piece! . . . and worth every penny!
